Tangoio

Tangoio willows are selected specifically for farm soil conservation and horticultural shelter as they have an excellent root to shoot ratio and are perfect for slop and gully erosion control. With a wider crown than the moutere species, tangoio have a high wind tolerance and light green foliage. Tangoio is a female clone, so avoid planting where there is potential for seedling establishment. This species is ideal for pollarding as it produces many stems and foliage.
