Shitake

Shitake mushrooms are widely recognised for their culinary flavours. It is one of the most popular mushrooms in Asia and prized for its umami flavours and meaty texture. It is also known in traditional Chinese medicine for its adaptogenic and immune supporting compounds which compliment other medicinal mushrooms. The Shitake mushroom we grow is a New Zealand native.
