Irette

A male clone of the purple osier, this shrub willow grows up to 8m high. The Irette species has a variable form, ranging from erect to spread branches and often has graceful slender branches. Although it grows well in high altitudes, Irette has a low drought tolerance. With a dense fibrous root system, this species is ideal for stream bank stabilisation.
